Honorees come from across the entire channel — vendors, technology solutions brokerages and tech distributors
Channel Futures’ 2022 Channel Influencers has a few new features. For one, there’s a new logo. Channel Partners and Channel Futures merged into one technology channel destination about a year ago,. So while we were exchanging “Futures” for “Partners” in the name, we to updated the winners’ badge as well.
The recipients of those winners’ badges have changed, too. Since launching in 2018, the Channel Influencer Awards had recognized the people, technologies, trends and organizations expected to shape the channel in the next year. But the past five years have brought unprecedented change to the world and to the channel. And those changes need to be reflected in our acknowledgement of influencers. So we eliminated the technologies, trends and organizations categories. Instead, the focus is now solely on individuals, and the list has expanded from 10 to 50 honorees.
Leaders, Not Listees
And about those honorees … They’re an exclusive lineup of 50 leaders representing the entire channel. It’s a diverse group that includes key decision-makers from top vendors as well as technology solutions brokerages and traditional tech distributors. They were hand-picked for the list because of their past accomplishments and the impact they are expected to make in the future.
“Channel chief” is a job title. “Channel leader” is an accolade earned for demonstrated dedication to the channel paired with an ability to inform, innovate and inspire the entire community. No matter what their job title, these 50 individuals have provided the vision and vitality to keep the channel moving forward. Check out their accomplishments in the gallery recognizing them.
